How to Cultivate TRUST in Your Organization: A Trauma-informed Leadership Model to Transform Your Work Culture
You got into this work because you wanted to serve people, not put out fires.
Yet here you are, leading a practice or team, teetering on the edge of being in over your head and holding your breath while you wait for the next wave of news or needs.
We’ve been there.
So we know that feeling equipped to have the next hard conversation and enroll your team into doing hard things — together — will make a huge impact on the outcomes you’re working towards.
We turned our 10+ years of leadership experience into our Cultivate TRUST model, and now, we’re offering it to group practice owners and leaders like you, so we can redefine what it means to be a leader in mental health and support the collective healing of our communities.
We know how depleting it can be to constantly be behind on your to-do list. We know that it doesn’t feel good when you realize you’re desensitized to chaos and crisis. We know the pull of urgent demands well, and we tried the sacrificing-yourself-for-the-system approach too.
In order to get back to your purpose, you need a team that engages with clients, manages the practice caseload, and contributes to the shared vision.
We can help.
Cultivate TRUST is a trauma-informed leadership model that guides you in how to lead with intention and understand the energetics of the working relationship.
The benefit of this methodology is that it offers you and your leadership team a tool to conceptualize where you want to grow while also providing you with concrete steps to resolve common challenges. Just like when a clinical team walks through a case using a clinical modality, you as a leadership team can walk through an employee management issue using this framework to help you identify where you might be stuck.
Creating a culture of TRUST increases team performance, enhances psychological safety, and leads to better clinical outcomes.
When you’re on the frontlines of our community’s future, you can't keep losing employees.
Do you relate?
You are a leader at a non-profit, group practice owner, or part of a leadership team
You want to create a healthy work culture for both you and your employees, but you just have so much on your to-do list
You care about the well-being of your team and want to create the workplace you never had
You struggle with how to give your team difficult feedback, especially if you’ve talked to them about their performance before and seen little to no changes
You worry you're not a good leader when faced with challenges or have employees push back on you
You have high turnover or low employee engagement
You have a high workload and wear many hats, making team building at work feel impractical
You feel overwhelmed and isolated in your leadership role; no one quite understands the pressure you are under and the decision fatigue you face
More than any other factor, relationships at work predict team performance.
Mastering relational leadership through cultivating a culture of TRUST is what combats turnover, overwhelm, and disengagement among the people who are holding us together and helping us move forward.
“This course leaves me feeling inspired and challenged to become a more effective leader for my team. Let’s level up your leadership to engage a team that solves problems together, and creates an emotionaly fluent society for us all.
"This course was truly transformative. It not only challenges you to explore your pre-conceived notions of leadership but also validates your past and current experiences and then provides you with skills to be better. In our field, we caution the provider who believes they have learned everything because we are perpetually on a journey of self-exploration and growth. This is the same with our ability to lead. I would tell anyone who is reluctant to take this course that they have the opportunity to be a better leader, to have better work relationships with staff, and to experience joy when coming to work."
